About the Exhibition
Seen In London is an open call inviting artists from anywhere in the world to have their work displayed across five digital billboards in some of London’s most visible and high footfall locations. This is not a gallery show with a guest list. This is public, city-wide, and seen by thousands of people every single day.
Ten artists will be selected. Their work will go live across London’s streets on 1st May 2026 as part of Creative Flair’s ongoing mission to turn the city’s public screens into a temporary gallery for emerging talent.
No theme. No restrictions on medium or style. Just your work, at scale, in one of the world’s great art cities.
Why submit your work?
Most artists wait years for visibility. They apply to galleries that don’t write back, enter fairs they can’t afford, and watch their work sit unseen in a studio.
The Public Canvas skips all of that.
We take your work off the wall and put it into the city, on high-impact digital billboards across five of London’s most iconic locations. No gatekeepers. No £3,000 booth fees. No waiting to be discovered.
Just your art, seen by thousands of people going about their lives in London.
This is for artists who are done waiting for permission.
- Your work shown across Angel Islington, King’s Cross, Shoreditch, Tower Bridge and Waterloo
- The same visibility as major institutions, without the price tag
- Part of a growing movement putting emerging artists where they deserve to be: in public
James Carter
Founder, Creative Flair
I built The Public Canvas because I kept meeting incredibly talented artists whose work nobody was seeing. Not because it wasn't good enough — but because the art world makes visibility expensive, slow, and exclusive. I wanted to change that. This is a project built entirely around getting your work in front of real people, in real places, across one of the world's greatest cities. Every artist who submits deserves to be seen. That's the whole point.
"Travelling down from Sunderland to London with my four-year-old to see my work in person was something I'll never forget. My little boy has been telling anyone who'll listen. It felt like a real 'we did this' moment — and it's absolutely given me the boost to keep going."
