Talents Contemporains – La Terre – Abbaye de Pontigny 2026 (Fondation François Schneider)

The Fondation François Schneider has opened the 1st edition of its “Talents Contemporains – La Terre” competition, extending its long-running Contemporary Talents programme to the theme of Earth at the Domaine de l’Abbaye de Pontigny in Burgundy, France. This inaugural edition is open to sculptures and installations designed to be placed outdoors; the winning works will form a permanent art trail in the abbey’s landscaped gardens. Who can apply: artists and artist collectives of any nationality (adults) with a professional visual-arts practice; only existing, completed works may be submitted. Awards: an International Grand Jury selects 4 to 5 winners, each receiving a grant of €15,000 covering the merit prize and the Foundation’s acquisition of the work (€8,000 for a multi-edition sculpture).
