About this open call
PhotoVogue, Condé Nast’s global photography platform, invites photographers and video makers worldwide to submit to its 2026 Global Open Call, Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion. The call asks artists not to illustrate a theme but to take a position – work that challenges familiar narratives, disrupts visual conventions and resists indifference.
Who can apply: open to all artists aged 18 and over, anywhere in the world. Photography, video and multimedia projects across all genres are welcome – fashion, documentary, portraiture, fine art and experimental practice. You may submit a series of up to 15 images and/or a 60-second video trailer. AI-generated work is not eligible.
What’s on offer: USD $12,000 in total grants across three awards – a $6,000 Outstanding Vision Grant, a $4,000 Vision Grant and a $2,000 Rising Voice Grant – plus presentation at the next PhotoVogue Festival, potential publication across Vogue editions worldwide, and participation in PhotoVogue Virtual Portfolio Reviews.
