About this residency

A residency in the Scottish Borders running 18 May to 14 June 2026, in partnership with the Edinburgh Art Festival. Residents stay at the Hugo Burge Foundation’s dedicated studios in the Berwickshire countryside.

The residency includes professional mentorship, development support, and longer term embedded research opportunities through EAF. Part of the Foundation’s wider 2026 programme of over twenty fully funded residencies across visual art, writing and performance.
