Biography

Polina Kurapova is a multidisciplinary film and television professional with over fifteen years of international experience in feature films, animation, television, advertising, experiential media, and large-scale content production. She graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television under the mentorship of renowned producer Sergey Selyanov, gaining expertise in feature film production, documentary, television, animation, and science-popular cinematography. She later continued at the Konrad Wolf University of Cinematography in Babelsberg, Germany.

Polina began her career on internationally recognized feature films, serving as Production Assistant for projects such as Mongol (2007), Tulpan (2008), Nirvana (2008), Morphine (2008), and A Yakuza’s Daughter Never Cries (2010). Her talent for coordinating large crews and complex shooting schedules led to roles as Production Coordinator on notable titles including The Stoker (2010), Baikonur (2011), Home (2011), Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf (2011), Kokoko (2012), Ya Tozhe Khochu (2012), Tri Bogatyrya: Khod Konem (2015), The Summer of Frozen Fountains (2015), and Ivan Tsarevich i Seryy Volk 3 (2016). She also coordinated the acclaimed Russian TV series Streets of Broken Lights (2014), overseeing 36 episodes. Parallel to film, she led creative production on the morning broadcast show “Morning on the 5th” (2014–2017), shaping live daily content for a national audience.

Upon relocating to the Gulf region, Polina expanded her scope into large brand platforms, events, and media strategy.
Her impact grew substantially at Meydan Group, where she managed complex event productions and developed marketing campaigns for luxury real estate and global sports initiatives. Her work spanned the region’s signature projects including CityScape exhibitions, premium residential launches, and the world-renowned Meydan World Horse Racing Cup.

Polina then joined Filmworks Group, where she took on a pivotal media role in Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious entertainment developments. As Project Manager, she led media production and projection content for Aquarabia Qiddiya City and subsequently for Six Flags Qiddiya®, overseeing all cinematic, branded, and experiential content across theme park experiences, immersive media, and architectural projection mapping.

Her UAE journey continued at BOLD, delivering some of the region’s most dynamic commercial productions, Fortnite game, an International SWAT documentary, Etisalat National Day, Atlantis Promo Campaign, and her first feature film as Associate Producer: City of Life: Continuum.
