I loved making this piece, and to me this is one of my most emotional work. I used a collage of my old tests and exam papers as a base, and then used gouache to paint the figure. After that I highlighted the grades I got with acrylic marker, and depending on how impactful each one was in my life, I created contrast with the background. I tried to illustrate how in a perfectionist's view, one bad grade always matters way more than 15 good ones, and how this feeling of failure impacts our life. As of now, I use it as study motivation:)
