Drithi Bopanna Puliyanda is a London-based artist whose work is deeply rooted in memory, heritage and emotional exploration. Her artistic journey began in childhood, nurtured by her Father, an artist by passion, who introduced her to the transformative power of art. Art then became a profound medium of connection – a way to translate grief into something lasting and meaningful.

Over the years, Drithi found her artistic voice in Stippling, a technique that embodies quiet patience and intricate storytelling. The precision of thousands of tiny dots in her monochromatic compositions creates depth, movement, Inspired by an art gallery in Rennes, France, she embraced Stippling not just as a method, but as a meditative philosophy. Her work is deeply influenced by her Kodava heritage from Coorg, India, an ancient martial tribe with Indo-Greek heritage, known for its rich traditions yet rare population. Coupled with her academic background in Psychology and Global Organisational Behaviour and her international experiences living in Mysore, Rennes, Bamberg, Luxembourg, and London, Drithi’s creative perspective is layered with cultural identity, introspection and global narratives.

In November 2023, she founded Gaia Artworks in London, where art meets the spirit of nature, inspired by the essence of Gaia – the Earth itself. Rooted in a deep connection to life, growth and harmony, her work celebrates the profound relationship between the inner self and the natural world. Specializing in original artworks, high-quality prints and bespoke commissions, Gaia Artworks invites viewers into a reflective dialogue – an interplay between movement and stillness – creating art that resonates deeply and strengthens the connection to the essence of Gaia.
