Jo Glover
Formerly at The London College of Printing (now University of the arts: London College of Communication), Jo, originally from Lancashire, studied Graphic and Media Design with experimental typography at Nelson & Colne College before moving to London to pursue a career.
During her industrial diploma year, she worked at places including Elle Magazine, Why Not Associates, Principal Branding, and 2 Birds in Sydney, Storm Design in Melbourne, and Block Branding in Perth, Australia, as well as The Chase in Manchester.
It was because of her passion for the arts and culture sector that she landed her first position at O-SB, a small design firm specialising in typography and serving clients including the South London Gallery, Compton Verney, and the Southbank Centre.
Once Jo had discovered branding, she went on to work as a full-time employee at venturethree for clients like the Times of London, the Waterstones Bookstore, Sky, HMV, UPC, and Discovery Channel, and continued to work as a freelance employee there while pursuing her MA in Communication Art & Design at the Royal College of Art.
At Wieden + Kennedy, after graduating from the RCA, she worked on a variety of difficult projects, such as an interactive digital window display for the Royal Wedding with Lurpak.
The V&A employs her as a senior graphic designer for their advertising and exhibits departments presently.
To keep her interests fresh, she accepts challenging private commission work from individuals.
