Summary of Forever Always

“Forever Always” is a painting by Octavio Ocampo that depicts a life well-lived. The painting features the faces of an elderly couple facing each other, but upon closer inspection, one will notice that the faces are composed of supposed younger versions of the couple sitting together and making merry. The couple shares the Cup of Life between them and the Crown of Fidelity above them.

Octavio Ocampo was born into a family of Mexican artists and received early and thorough instruction in the fundamentals of art, including composition. He is known for his surrealist paintings that feature optical illusions and hidden images.
