Why submit your work

This is not another open call.
This is your work on a London street.

Most open calls end with a group show in a basement gallery that your friends attend. This one ends with your artwork displayed at scale, in public, across London — seen by thousands of people who have never heard of you before.

This is the kind of exposure that used to cost £3,000+. Brands pay five figures for a single billboard. You pay £28 to enter. If selected, your work goes up on 1 May across five locations simultaneously. Professional photographers document it. Creative Flair promotes it. You walk away with something no gallery show can give you.

It does not matter if you have zero followers or zero exhibitions. We are not looking at your CV. We are looking at the work.

What it feels like to be seen

It was such a delight to be part of Creative Flair's Art on the Streets Week. What a thrill to see The Obscured Mother on billboards across London! I'm so grateful for the opportunity. It was a superb end to the year!

As a mammy of two very young boys, having my art noticed honestly meant more to me than I can put into words. Travelling down from Sunderland with my four year old to see my work in person was such a special experience. My little boy has been telling anyone who'll listen, "I went to London to see my mammy's artwork."

I want to say a huge thank you to Creative Flair for featuring my artwork in the Art on The Streets London Art Fair Edition. It's given me the confidence boost I needed. Seeing my work displayed in lights across London was an incredible experience.

“It feels fitting that a work about feminine power, and women unapologetically taking up space, did exactly that — right in the middle of the city.”

From the founder

I created The Public Canvas because artists deserve to be seen beyond gallery walls.

I have spent the last three years building Creative Flair from a one person blog into a platform that creates real opportunities for artists. In March, we placed five women artists on digital billboards across London for International Women's Day. The response was extraordinary — artists from across the world got involved.

Seen In London is the next chapter. Five billboard sites. Ten artists. No follower count required, no gallery CV expected. We are looking at the strength of the work, full stop.

If you have ever wanted to see your art in public, at scale, in one of the greatest cities in the world — this is that moment. Do not let it pass because you were not sure. Submit your work. We will take it from there.
